Help Jody Recover

On 12/16/2018 @ 4:11am, Jody was in a bad accident. He was riding his bicycle, when a motorist crossed the edge of the road and hit him head on @ a speed of 45+ launching Jody.

The driver of the car spun out, and then took off on foot before police showed up. After his friends searching for over 24hrs as he had gone missing, we found him at Tampa General with serious injuries.

So far in the last 48hrs he has had to have several rods placed in his leg (he broke both his femur and tibia), he has had several blood transfusions, and has intense physical therapy to go through.

The police are looking for the hit and run driver and hopefully catch him so that he may get what he deserves. We suspect the driver was impaired due to the timing of the accident and the fact he fled the scene.

As of right now we have no idea if they will find the driver and if he will have insurance. The Dr bills are going to be large due to the extent of his injuries.

Jody is employed by the construction company i co-own, however he will not be able to return to work for a while as he is going to need intensive physical therapy. 

At this point we pray Jody heals up enough and we can bring him home before Christmas.
