Hi, my name is Rhetta and I am the author of a number of books, including The Irish Slaves, the non-fiction story of Irish slavery, Haunted Marietta, about the ghosts and ghosts stories of my town, Marietta, GA, and Sex Sells, about women on stage, in photography and in film.
I have always wanted to travel to England. My ancestors lived in what many people believe is the most haunted house in England, Athelhampton House, from the time it was built by my ancestor, William Martyn in 1485 for four genenrations more. Many of my ancestors have effigies in the local church. It is my goal to go there and write a book about the house, the effigies, and other English cemeteries and ancestral places in the UK.
I am diabetic and my health is only fair so if I a going to do this I need to do it soon. I hope togo in August 2015. The $10,000 would cover travel expenses for at least 10 days. I promise that any money that I get will go for travel expenses, from getting a passport to arranging air fare for myself and my husband and arranging lodging and food.
