Grow.Eat.Repeat is a growing business (garden pun intended). We are looking to raise funds for furthering the reach and potential of what we can do. We want folks to be clear on why we are trying to raise money and feel confident that their dollars are going towards a worthy cause. Here is a short list of a few key things that will help us push to the next level:
- Marketing Campaign/Advertising
-Compost Operator Training Course (offered through the US Composting Council- $800)
- More buckets for collection (versatility is key)
- "Next Level" Tools and equipment
- Focus on education in area schools
- Biobags (liner for buckets)
- Bicycle(s) for our burgeoning residential collection service

I started collecting food scraps from restaurants in 2011 for my own garden because I did not want to spend money on soil. I figured that if I could help restaurants realize the usefulness of their food waste and offer a service that would manage it for them I would have a hearty supply of healthy soil built up in no time! Four years later, Grow.Eat.Repeat is diverting roughly 5 thousand pounds of food waste per month.

In the USA, 30-40% of the food supply is wasted, equaling more than 20 pounds of food per person per month www.worldfooddayusa.org/food_waste_the_facts . We are passionate about reducing food waste ending up in the landfill. Your assistance will help us continue doing what we do here in Savannah,GA and will improve our ability to operate our business.
