Grime Studios Final Fundraiser

Grime Studios, Portland, Maine's ONLY 24/7 artist & music rehearsal space has relocated from Thompson's Point to 299 Presumpscot Street.
OVER $110,000 has been raised since September of 2014. The bulk of this has come from grants and foundations [$40k], coupled with a loan [$35k] and private donors [$25k]. The online fundraisers via IndieGoGo and GoFundMe - combined with numerous benefit shows - have brought in around $10K.
GRIME STUDIOS STILL NEEDS YOUR HELP TO OPEN.
In addition to all soft costs (architectural, permitting, legal fees, consulting, registration, sprinkler prep, deposits, etc.), Grime has completed the HUGE sound proof partisan wall (separating from the abutting neighbor), all frame work for the (20) new studios, all electrical work and a significant amount of insulation/soundproofing. This includes the construction of the (8) VERY SMALL studios, which bands from the old building currently use in the meantime.
The remaining costs are estimated to reach roughly $25,000. This is A LOT of money - however - compare it to the “well over $150K goal” from a year ago… Grime Studios is VERY CLOSE to landing on solid ground after this wild ride.
