Gregory Craig “Pops”

Pops is not going to like that were making this, so let’s get that out of the way.

Anybody who knows Pops, knows he would never ever in a million years ask for a handout or help. He’s way too stubborn and hard headed. And anybody who knows him, also knows he will help anybody at anytime, without asking for even a simple “thank you” in return. His whole life he has worried about helping everybody around him, and not helping himself. So right now we all have a chance to return the favor, and show him we appreciate everything he does for all of us. 

Greg and Becky (pops and mom) flew back to Ohio from California last week, to visit family and go to my moms high school reunion.

Pops was experiencing some shortness of breath, and thought it was just a cold. After a couple days it didn’t get better, and my mom took him to Urgent Care to get checked out. They determined he had Atrial fibrillation (a-fib) which is an irregular and rapid heart beat, that causes poor blood flow and possible stroke/heart attack. He was taken in an ambulance to a trauma center and put on medication to get his heart under control. After a lot of testing and blood work it is determined he has water retention around his heart, which was causing heart failure. He is still in the hospital and getting treatment, and will hopefully be coming home in the next few days, when he is cleared to fly.

The medical bills and costs from all the tests and nights in the hospital, are going to be a significant and very unexpected hit to the family. The goal we set is far below what they are going to be, but hopefully we can help in the slightest bit. Please share and donate anything you can guys.
