The Greengard Center for Autism is a day program for adults with autism that has been in operation in the Portsmouth, New Hampshire area for over two years. We have recently leased property to create a center for our participants. We are designing a space that is particularly suited for the specific needs adolescents and adults with autism AND WE NEED YOUR HELP.
Our goal is to provide a unique, lifelong learning opportunity for these young adults which will include: an inclusive community based curriculum that is individually tailored to each participants’ interests and abilities using positive evidence based methods; meaningful work; family involvement, access to recreation, social and community acceptance and participation. We are working to provide adults with autism the opportunity to be a productive member of the community.
YOUR GENEROUS DONATION will provide for the necessary renovations and equipment needed to bring our vision to reality. The Greengard Center will offer a base for our goal to help adults with autism to be productive and respected members of the community.
