Greener JC's Internship Program

Update: Greener JC is currently hosting a Fall 2020 Internship with four high school students as a continuation from our successful summer internship.
As you know, Jersey City has faced unprecedented challenges in 2020, and our youth have no choice but to deal with the consequences. After four months of remote learning, Jersey City students now risk a summer of lost opportunity, as internships and summer youth programs have been canceled.
At Greener JC, we are attempting to help fill the void of science research and internship opportunities by hosting a robust summer internship program, and we’re asking for your help! Greener JC will be hosting a paid six-week internship program where students will conduct independent research in the following areas: pollinator habitat and diversity, bird diversity surveys in Liberty State Park’s Caven Point, and plant biodiversity surveys in Jersey City’s parks and green spaces.
The more money we raise, the most students we can support. Greener JC is a registered 501C3 with no overhead costs, which means all proceeds raised will directly support sustainability initiatives in Jersey City. This summer, we’re supporting the sustainability of this City by investing in the education of Jersey City’s youth, and 100% of your donations will go toward providing stipends for our high school interns and materials to support their project.
