Great Britain Tri World Champs 2018

I have always been a competitor in sports, at a very modest level, so I was as delighted that two years ago at the age of 74 I gained selection to represent Great Britain Age Group Triathlon Team in Mexico, a year later I again made the Team in Rotterdam aged 75.  Because of my performance, second Brit and 13th in the World I pre qualified for this years World Championships in The Gold Coast Australia.

I was thrilled at this but considered the cost to go was not possible and whilst letting my friends know of my qualifying  said I would not go.
The reaction was amazing and so many people said 'John you must go and not let this opportunity pass' so I am asking for any donation you may want to  give so that I can  again wear the Great Britain Uniform.

Having raised circa £8000 for Charities over so many years of Marathon running (22) Everest Base Camp, Kilimanjaro, Inca Trail, Tour Du Mont Bloc and The Three Peaks  I am hoping that I will raise enough to make a donation to the Junior Section of Hoddesdon Tri Club who I find inspirational in their enthusiasm. 
I am currently training hard in preparation for early September this year and am hoping the current heat wave will help me with the expected heat in Australia.
