HELP AFGHAN REFUGEES in EU

HELLO, we are the Afghanistan and Central Asian Association (ACAA), a grassroots charity completely managed by student volunteers.


We work to bring awareness to the refugee crisis which is ripping our world and dictating our political platforms. See in a world were millions of lives are being governed by strict immigration laws and regulations, we hope to highlight the ethical factors which truly guide these situations after all refugees are everyday humans rather than stats on a page. Refugees are not quotas which countries have to meet, they are parents looking for a better life for their children, lawyers who want to bring justice, doctors who want to cure rather than be the sick.

Why are refugees so special to ACAA members? Because the charity was started by a refugee family. Dr Nasimi and his family with their 4 children came into this country on a refrigerator container hoping to make a better life for themselves in England. They have successfully set up ACAA which is now running for over 16 years and has helped hundreds of individuals and families who have come to the UK seeking a better future.


ACAA is a charity by a refugee for future refugees and migrants. We bring awareness by hosting conferences around England and the EU and are currently preparing for a conference in Stockholm, Sweden. However, as mentioned we are completely run by students who rely on helpful donations to provide well-organised conferences. The upcoming Stockholm conference highlights the issue of return migration.


We require funding for speakers, advertisement and venue. We hope that you donate for a cause that is extremely crucial in today's world and help us raise awareness on refugee conditions.
