Grant For Emerging BC Sculptor

The campaign goal is to raise funds in order to establish an annual emerging sculptor award  in British Columbia, Canada. The successful applicant will have demonstrated a passion for the art making process along with a desire to develop a career in the plastic arts; particularly in area of Sculpture.

The emerging sculptor award will have a $500 value.  Any monies raised over the campaign goal will be invested in a permanent endowment fund with the Vancouver Foundation to grow the grant fund to ensure that it becomes a self-sustaining program. Our first award will be given out in 2019.

The Sculptors’ Society of British Columbia (SSBC) is a BC registered, non profit society and a CRA listed charity. My personal relationship with the Sculptors' Society of BC is that of elected member of the Board of Directors.

Each contribution, no matter how large or small, will make a  difference in developing our next generation of professional sculptors within the Province of BC.
