FAMILIAL ADENOMATOUS POLYPOSIS

Familial adenomatous polyposis
Hard to pronounce isn't it?
Simply put it is a disease where hundreds of polyps are in the colon and more grow all the time. A rare disease but nonetheless one that is a killer and the worst of it is it passes down through the family for unending generations. A curse so to speak.
It disease develops into cancer and kills the carrier. My first wife Carol died from it at the age of 39. it ate her body up. My 2nd daughter died from it at the age of 39 it ate her body up as well. She lays next to her mom now.
My youngest daughter had most of her colon removed saving her life but must be checked constantly.
My grandchildren and great grandchildren must be checked as well and on it goes.
I have three grandchildren, brothers and sister who are now full of these polyps and are in their twenties. They face death if the entire colon is not removed and soon. 
So I ask for help. Face Book will not allow me a Go Fund Me and now I must come to you for advice. Where do I turn? Who do I call or go see? 
This needs action, it needs money, it needs help. I can pray for them all the way into the grave, but right now we need more than that.

I need your help. My wife and daughter died of the same disease of the colon. Both at the age of 39 and both suffered terribly. They now lie side by side in the same mausoleum in Plainfield Indiana.

My wife carried a gene unknown to her and the family that makes this disease hereditary and passes it down through offspring’s for generations. Any child born has a fifty-fifty chance of having the disease.

Out of the four children we had two were stricken with the disease. My middle daughter Anna Lee, and my youngest daughter Beth Ann. My wife Carol died, my middle daughter Anna died and Beth had to have sixty to seventy percent of her colon removed with the possibility of even more surgery at any time. But thank God she is alive now. All of my children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren must be tested for this terrible disease from now on.

Here is the problem and the reason for this writing Beth’s three children, my grandchildren have been stricken with this disease. The twins and their older brother all have the disease. It is terrible and consists of hundreds if not thousands of polyps throughout the entire intestinal system. The entire colon is completely covered with them causing the function of the colon to not do its job.

The only hope of life is to have the entire colon removed and this was supposed to be done by age twenty five. The family is unable to do this and so the children suffer.

I am able to house and feed them, but I need help with the medical costs.

And so I pray and turn to you.
