Grand Rapids Dance Ensemble

About Us: 
Grand Rapids Dance Ensemble is a contemporary dance company that provides opportunities for adult dancers to create, explore, and perform.

Sarah Bethel, the Artist Director, found there was lack of performance opportunities for adult dancers in the Grand Rapids area. Seeing this lack, Sarah joined with Andrea Nightingale to create the Grand Rapids Dance Ensemble in August 2017.

During the day our ensemble members are teachers, physical therapists, nurses, and human resources managers, just to name a few. However, every week we come together as artists to create and grow. Our hope as an ensemble is to create a name for ourselves in the West Michigan area and to continue to provide an artistic outlet for our dancers.


Your Sponsorship:
The challenges we face as a small dance ensemble are finding the funds to cover costs such as rental fees, costumes, advertising, and music and copyright licensing.

Through your sponsorship, we would be able to grow and positively impact the art community in the Grand Rapids and greater West Michigan area.
