Grand Beach Community Playground

The Playground Funding and Construction Committee is comprised of Tracey Kirby- Savard, Carly Friesen, Lea Rioux, Marnie Rand-Gadient & Marcie MacDonald.  As many of you may already be aware, in the fall of 2017 the playground located at the Community Club was condemned and early this spring it was removed from the site. After years of slivers, wasp bites, and scrapes, our community finally has a chance to build a safe and inclusive space for all children to use.
If you build it, they will come.... Sure, but building takes M-O-N-E-Y! The Committee has a fundraising plan and we hope to secure support from grants, as well.
It is our hope to raise $10,000 from this GO FUND ME PAGE .
This is just the Start, as this project will cost anywhere between 50,000 to 60,000!!

For those of you who would prefer to make donations by cheque or cash, we will have volunteers available at the Club on Canada Day to accept any funds.

We are also excited to accept corporate sponsorships as well and plan to officially recognize support in a permanent way, alongside our family donations... so please make sure to include your info with your donation and please reach out if you are interested in a business receipt and/or sponsorship.
