Grace Brulotte Medical Fund

Grace was diagnosed with severe Scoliosis at the age of fourteen. At the time, the surgery to correct her Scoliosis posed too many risks, so she opted to wait. In March 2018, Grace’s spinal specialist informed her that her curvature, which is now 85 degrees, has become life threatening and would need to be corrected. In July 2018 Grace will be undergoing a minimum of two months of halo traction therapy, followed by an intense spinal fusion surgery. Grace will be hospitalized for a period of three to four months at Foothills in Calgary. Grace’s family are requiring support to deal with this major life change. Renting an apartment for those months will be necessary for Grace’s mom to remain close to her during this time. Their hope is also to hire caregivers to stay with Grace periodically so her mom can come home. Any support for this family while Grace undergoes treatment is greatly appreciated.
