Kenneth and Erin’s story start out unlike many, they were united by mutual friends that were dating at the time. Erin was asked if she wanted to talk to her boyfriends roommate who was stationed in Germany serving for the Army. Erin took interest and immediately began talking to Kenneth through social media just to see where things would lead. After lots of endless messaging back and forth and nights up talking on the phone, Erin and KC decided it was time to meet. Erin flew out to Germany to meet this man that she connected with. From the moment she laid eyes on Kenneth, she knew this was it, he was the one.
From there, their love for one another blossomed quickly where they ended up getting engaged and married in 6 months. Kenneth wanted to be sure Erin was covered while he deployed to Iraq, so they married while she was out in Florida to visit him. After a long deployment and an R&R where Kenneth came home and they exchanged vows in front of friends and family, Kenneth and Erin moved to Kentucky where they started a new journey as a family including a baby girl, Alexa. From here the Army moved the Etheridge’s to Colorado Springs, Colorado where they spent most of their time. Kenneth had to deploy to Afghanistan leaving his wife and daughter in Colorado. After this long year deployment, Kenneth came home and they added more to their growing clan! Twins this time! Another girl and this time a boy for Kenneth! Adelyn and Kameron. After what seems a short time had passed, Kenneth was called to deploy AGAIN, missing more time with his family and so many milestones of his children growing up. He deployed to Qatar where he was gone for 9 months and safely came home from his third and final tour. After this, Kenneth realized it was time to get out and pursue his life long dream of being a Helicopter Pilot. After a lot of back and forth, Kenneth and family took a leap of faith and trusted in God to get them through him getting out of the Army. He got out and they moved back to his home of Florida where Kenneth was doing exceedingly well and loving every minute of being a helicopter pilot. You can hear and see the pure joy in this mans face being with his family and pursuing his life long dream. Now, I almost forgot to mention the Etheridge’s decided they were a family of 6 and had another beautiful baby girl to the bunch, Ainsley. He was so excited to finally see one of his kids reach all the milestones so many fathers get the chance to see.
Tragedy struck on Oct 6, 2015 when Erin got the devastating news she was needed at the hospital due to Kenneth being in critical condition. Kenneth was on his motorcycle when he got in this crash. At this time the only information we have to give is that Kenneth is in the hospitals care and is fighting for his life with an unsurvivable brain stem injury. Please continue to pray for a miracle. This generous, loving family is in need of one.
In the meantime, let’s try and get help them out however we can. Kenneth was the most giving, loving and helping person. He would stop and give to the homeless and help with anyone he saw pulled over on the side of the road. Him and his wife, Erin do everything they can do help the people in their lives. They are the most unselfish people. Any donations are immensely appreciated as we are trying to stay positive in this dark time to help out this incredible family.

With a heavy heart I am sad to inform that our beloved Kenneth in now at peace in Heaven, watching over his loved ones. He is giving life to 4 others through an Organ Donation and his legacy will continue to live on through others. Let's pray and send love to the Etheridge family during this hard time.
