GOSAC - Give Our Strays A Chance

$200 of $2,000 goal

Raised by 9 people in 16 months
My name is Dean Morris and I am 14 years old.
I created a campaign called GOSAC - Give Our Strays A Chance to raise awareness of adopting and donating to animals in shelters, pounds and rescue groups.

GOSAC started as a school project in PEAC (gifted and talented program) to teach us that even kids can make a difference.
We rescued my dog Hooch from a pound, he was just about to be euthanised. It made me so sad that I decided to do something about it.
It has been so successful that this is the 5th year I run GOSAC.

Every year I organise a big day called GOSAC DAY.
During GOSAC DAY, I raise donations of money and items  for the strays in my local shopping centre - Forest Lakes Forum in Thornlie.
I get businesses involved asking them to donate prizes for a draw. Anyone who donates gets to enter.
There are strays looking for homes and cuddles.
At the end of GOSAC DAY, I draw the winners.
There are amazing prizes every year!
This year GOSAC DAY will be held on Saturday the 12th of May 2018 at the Forest Lakes Forum, Thornlie.
All money and donations this year go to SAFE PERTH (Saving Perth Animals from Euthanasia).

You can read all about gosac on my website www.gosac.info

I am just a kid but I am working hard and doing my best to make a difference and save as many homeless strays as possible.
I can't do it on my own. I need your support!
