Gordon Community Movie Theater

In 1972, the Gordon Movie Theater was built through investments in the Gordon Community Development Corporation. Marv and Naomi Bussinger managed and then bought the theater, providing the area with years of film entertainment.

Now, more than 40 years later, the GCDC once again owns the theater and a non-profit group has been formed to renovate and re-open it. After sitting vacant for many years, water issues lead to mold throughout the facility. The leaks have been fixed and the mold has been removed. A plan is in place to rebuild the interior, making it ADA compliant, and implement state-of-the-art digital projection and audio equipment.

With your help, we can bring the cinema experience back to Gordon, Nebraska!
