Google Chromebooks for Sto-Rox HS
Donation protected
Last year, the Pittsburgh community helped us to bring back the baseball and softball programs at Sto-Rox High School in McKees Rocks, PA. The outpouring of support was overwhelming.
Since launching Hardwired TV last month, we've done our best to document what makes Sto-Rox a special place. We've learned that the teachers, administrators, and community members are the lifeblood of this community and continue their work as a labor of love regardless of a lack of resources. The kids are smart and talented and appreciative and deserve every opportunity to flourish.
As we wrap up this series, we're asking for your help so that we can buy Google Chromebooks for the students. For a school of 500 kids in grades 7-12, there are around 50 computers in the school, and as we said in the video, many of them are out of date and overbooked. The need for more technology is real. Students must know how to utilize it in order to continue their education and thrive in the workplace after graduation.
If you're not able to donate, please consider sharing this video so that we can reach the far ends of the region so that we can help these kids. Thank you!
