GoodTil2.com for all in AZ
My wife and I built GoodTil2.com to serve as a restaurant and bar directory in Arizona. We ONLY feature locally owned and operated establishments and promote keeping the profits from restaurants within our community.
Our site/app is free for Foodies because we didn't want to make people pay for their discounts. We stayed away from reviews, because of the inauthentic nature to them. Instead, we have a 5-Star rating feature which shows the average of all the votes. When you go into the directory, the closest restaurant to you at that moment will appear first, and go down from there. We don't charge restaurants, so you won't have to sift through paid restaurant ads before you get to the directory.
We also made our site very easy to use and very clean. You can register with just your name, email address and phone number and then use all the features on both our site and app.
We are asking for $50,000 because we believe we can spread the word within the Phoenix Valley to get more Foodies to register and start enjoying our services. We also believe that we can reach more restaurants and grow the variety of restaurants a Foodie can choose from.
We currently have over 115 restaurants and our goal is to reach 500 restaurants within 6 months.
The more Foodies we have, the more locally owned restaurants will want to join GoodTil2.com .
We know that if we do this right, we can replace the expensive costs of Yelp, Groupon, Google, etc to restaurants.
Our project started 5 years ago when my wife (girlfriend at the time) and I were enjoying a glass of wine. We thought about what we were looking for as Foodies and how difficult it was to find. We never pay for discounts, we don't trust reviews, we wanted something local and certainly didn't need driving directions to the closest drive-thru restaurant. We were looking for places that were fun and cool with great food and unique atmospheres.
Since it wasn't out there, we decided to build it ourselves.
This funding would mean so much to us because it would allow us to share it with everyone in Arizona. We believe you will love it as much as we do, and we thank you for your support.
