Nicole Abrams and Patrick Caron, henceforth known as the PatNic Pals, are heading to Europe to ride bikes from the Atlantic Ocean to the Black Sea with the Green Riders !
The Green Riders Tour is a grassroots, volunteer-based ride. Our mission is to leave each town and place we visit better than we found it. We are committed individuals coming together with a mission to spread goodness, greenness and kindness through acts of good deeds for the health of both communities and the planet!
During the summer of 2017, the Green Riders cycled from New York City to Seattle as intentional travelers, in service of the good people of this nation. In 2019, the Green Riders will be adventuring beyond the US, cycling across Europe following the EuroVelo 6 route . It takes people of all kinds, from all walks of life, coming together to make lasting, palpable impact in ours and the worlds of others. And so, we ask you to be part of this ripple effect of goodness as a supporter of this campaign.
The PatNic Pals are committed to the mission of the Green Riders through this campaign. Sixty percent (60%) of funds raised will directly support our volunteer work while on tour, such as purchasing materials for setting up free food gardens, purchasing and shipping fruit trees to project destinations, and supporting other community development service projects that we will be helping with. Twenty percent (20%) will go towards carbon offsets for flights and the remaining twenty percent (20%) will help pay for maintenance and repairs for the Green Rider cyclists during the tour.
Any additional funds raised will be donated to New Roots CO , a grassroots nonprofit in the Eagle River Valley of Colorado where Patrick and Nicole live in the United States. Nicole is a co-founder of New Roots CO, the mission of which is to support healthy, local, sustainable food access through education, outreach, and partnership.

Nicole Abrams
Nicole is a driven sustainable lifestyle enthusiast, spiritual ecology guide, science educator, and outreach program coordinator. She is Co-Founder and Board President of New Roots CO and is deeply committed to empowering local food resilience within the community she has chosen to put down her own roots. She is an avid cyclist and rode with the Green Riders in 2017, a trip that effectively changed the trajectory of her life. For fun, Nicole loves to participate in community theater, ski, snowboard, and play disc golf!
Patrick Caron
Patrick is a connoisseur of the arts, both food and beer. He studied culinary arts in university and is now the courier of craft for Bonfire Brewing, delivering their liquid love across Eagle County, Colorado. Patrick also manages the brewery's Actively Green Certification, tracking waste streams, green purchasing, energy and water use for company operations and engaging staff in sustainable initiatives to help reduce the impact of operations. For fun, Patrick also loves to participate in community theater, snowboard, play disc golf, and mountain bike!
