We are off again, Gone Bush Hay Run Round 2!
On the 6th of October we had 4 trucks and trailers deliver a touch over 130 round bails to Shanklins Road South East of Coonamble! This was spread between the 10 neighbouring properties and we would like to get back there and finish what we started.
On the 3rd of November we will set off again.
We have used half of the current donations so still have a remainder of around $9000 and are hoping to build this up quickly so we can take even more hay this time around.
There are new trucks putting their hands up to transport along with the same guys who transported the first load, so what we need from you are any donations you can spare to make sure we get as much on board as possible.
We had a convoy of 10 vehicles and 4 trucks with just under 30 people all together camped up on Willow Downs around a bonfire telling stories into the night and we hope we can get another crowd like this and do it all again. The involvement of so many different people from different areas helps grow awareness of the plight of our farmers and the joy on their faces in such drought stricken times was truely humbling and I urge anyone and everyone to get involved to some capacity.
