Gold 'n Blues Upcoming EP
The Gold 'n Blues are a coed, college a cappella choir hailing from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. We've been singing together since 2008. We've traveled throughout the country and in the past have recorded 3 albums!
In this EP we will be featuring 4 of our best songs from 2015 and 2016. These are:
Cosmic Love (Florence and the Machine)
Brother (NEEDTOBREATH and Gavin DeGraw)
Say You Love Me (Jessie Ware)
Like I'm Gonna Lose You (Meghan Trainor and John Legend)
The money from this fundraiser will be put towards many different aspects of the recording process - actual recording of background singers, soloists and vocal percussion, production, editing and finally publishing! We will be putting the songs on both Spotify and iTunes, where they will be available for all to hear!
Donations of any size are greatly appreciated! Any little bit helps in paying for this expensive endeavor. Without your generous donations albums like this would not be possible. We love to sing and it's amazing to be able to share our music with all of you!
For any more questions about the group, feel free to check out http://www.goldnblues.com or on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram!
Merry Christmas from GnB! We're hoping you're all enjoying the season and surviving the snow! During this holiday season we're taking some time to reflect on everything that has made this year amazing, with the recording of our EP being such a big part of it. We continue to be so grateful for your donations and support of the group. Without your donations our EP would not have been possible.
Our EP is now up on Spotify, iTunes and GooglePlay, so make sure to give it a listen! You can find it by searching "Sing Out Ahoya" or "Gold 'n Blues".
And if you haven't had a chance to check out our recording of "That's Christmas to Me" make sure to do so! We're hoping it will help to put you in the holiday spirit. You can find it on Facebook by clicking this link:
With much love and holiday cheer,
It's been a while but we have some very exciting news! Due to some unexpected delays in the recording process we're a few months behind schedule, but we are so excited to finally announce the launch of our new EP! Our album is now available on Spotify, iTunes and Apple Music! The album "Sing Out Ahoya" can be find by searching the album title or by searching Gold 'n Blues. The album is a joint album with the other a cappella groups on Marquette's campus, The Meladies and The Naturals. Make sure to check out their songs as well!
For now our music is only out digitally, but we're working on getting CDs printed. If you'd be interested in a CD send us an email - it will help us to estimate how may to order.
Thank you again to all our donors. This project would not have been possible without you and we are continually so grateful for your support and encouragement. We hope you enjoy listening to this music as much as we have.
Have a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
A quick update - we've finished the recording process and we're in the works of having the music edited and mixed. When that's done in just a couple weeks we'll be able to license the music and put it out on iTunes and Spotify.
In the meantime we're continuing to work hard singing here on campus and fundraising. Our fundraising will continue into the summer, so keep sharing and making donations!
