Goji's eye surgery

Goji is my pet Eastern blue-tongued skink, she is approximately 7-8 years old, active and quite healthy. She loves being let out to bask in the sun, blueberries and chin rubs. She's the first and only lizard I've ever owned, and I care about and love her as much as anyone else would love their dog, cat or other pet.

Just yesterday while I was out to get her food, one of my Mum's cats opened Goji's tank and attacked her, perforating her eye.  Her tank should have been secured and I'm incredibly regretful of that, though in my defence I never needed a lock because I live with my Nan where we have 2 dogs that go nowhere near my room and am only briefly staying with Mum. I did buy one while I was out yesterday, but I guess it was too late.

It's looking like she'll need her eye removed, I'm on the way to an exotic pet vet right as I write this, and although I don't know the exact monetary figure, it is not expected to be cheap. However, I'm incredibly short on money at the moment as I recently had to replace my phone. I'm in contact with the pet crisis fund also, hoping they can bridge the gap between whatever I can pay and the full costs. Thank you for reading, every little bit counts.
