“For Pete's Sake”

Dear Friends
 
I am writing you today in support of Peter and Trish and their family.  Some may/not know that Peter was diagnosed with cancer in February.  In the last couple of weeks, we have found out that his cancer has worsened and that there are no further treatment options.  Peter's wishes are to receive care at home to make him comfortable, spend time with his family and friends, and make sure that each day is the best it can be. 

This year, Peter and Trish welcomed a beautiful baby boy, Keane, into their lives. He joined older brother, Rowan, who is 2.5 years old (he makes sure you know that!) and his very big brother, Liam, who is 19 and currently in his second year at Dalhousie University in Halifax.
 
Both Peter and Trish have an incredible network of friends and family who have rallied around them during this most difficult time. It is very clear to us that everyone wants to help, but that often, it is hard to know how to help.
 
Today we are asking for your financial support to help Peter, Trish, and their family through this. Money is not something they should have to worry about right now, on top of everything else. 
 
Any donation that you can make will be helpful and together, we can make this difficult situation a little easier for Peter and Trish and their boys both now and going forward. 
 
Please feel free to share this campaign with anyone else you know who may like to help Peter and Trish, and who may not be sure how to do so. 
 
We are thankful for the wonderful friends that have been supporting Peter all his life, and especially at this difficult time.
