On May 12, 2019 during a routine check up, a mass was found in my left breast.  I was diagnosed with stage 3  Invasive Ductal Carcinoma.  My family and I were shocked and this news seemed unreal and scar y. my tumor is 7 centimeters. We were in a fog for days, as expected under such circumstances. The good news is that my tests have shown that I have "excellent biology" to fight this and I WILL!  I am scheduled for a double mastectomy on June 25th, followed by chemotherapy and radiation. With our family, friends and wonderful community's love and support. Nick, the boys and I  know that we all got this!!
