New life for a Racehorse

My name is Rowan. I am an avid equestrian and I have been given the oppertunity to save an injured off the track racehorse with the sweetest additude and the largest heart. His name is Eddie, and he has a fractured knee.
This injury is just a simple roadbump in Eddie's life. With 3-4 months of stall rest he can begin his re-training for the dressage ring.
While I can afford most of his care, there are vet bills, expected and unexpected that will need to be covered, and those I cannot afford.
If I cannot take him, there is a large possibility he will be put down, simply because very few people want a horse that is not instantly ready to go.
I have a hard time asking for help, but I am asking you for it. Even $10 will help so much and if we can reach my goal of $2000 I would be so, so grateful.
