Raise One for the Goddess

The Great Goddess is alive and well inside each one of us.
I have seen this Goddess awakening ever since I began working with women in 1976. As author of The Medicine Woman Tarot and Inner Guidebook, I have assisted thousands of women in liberating their creative power.

Now, at 74, I am undertaking the remodeling of a house and garden left to me by a young couple who decided homesteading was not their preferred lifestyle. My heart is telling me to make this house a Goddess Temple.


It won't be a cathedral, just a house in the woods with a feeling of sacredness, dedicated to the Goddess in all of us. Below, you will discover how you can participate.

I have created many simple structures on this land I call Wild Grace to house guests during my workshops and retreats. I will do most of the construction work on the newly-acquired house, but need help with major systems like making a driveway, trimming trees and installing bathroom and heating changes.


This is a photo of the house as is. Whether I am quilting or remodeling, my passion is taking "the pieces" I find and combining them into something fantastic. As a feng shui professional and artist, I am filled with creative ideas often expressed in my art quilts. Now I have an opportunity to work on this large scale project and I need your help.

Here are the "pieces" that need work and funds:


Everything I do depends on the cooperative efforts of many people. My quilt "Can We Sew Peace by Morning" shows how every small act of love, whether sewing, building or whatever you do with love adds to the "quilt of consciousness" that creates our world.


This new  cooperative venture will house my studio and sharing-space in which I will continue to generate healing art. You can be part of the process of creating this Temple.


The quilters depicted are "sewing" a new world. Each one has embroidered their personal wish for the world onto the quilt. I will be making a special quilt to celebrate all of the people who contribute to my Raise One for the Goddess temple project.


The first person to contribute $1000 will receive one of my quilts. (Click here to see quilts which are currently available). Choose any quilt up to a $2000 value.

Everyone who contributes $100 or more before August 1, 2017, will receive a  "Raise One for the Goddess" coffee mug. It will have this image:


Fill your cup with the joy of knowing you are part of building this Temple. Together, we not only raise walls, raise children, and sometimes "raise cain," we also raise the consciousness of the world.

Everyone who contributes will have their name on a new quilt I will place in this Temple at completion. Be sure to join the fun! I need to get the project done while the weather is friendly. I will post updates as we go along.


Update: It's December now, so contributor perks have been updated. Here are the new ones:

Helping Hand Level: $20. Your name on the Goddess House Quilt at project completion.

Merry Godmother Level: $200.  $100 credit toward the purchase of any of my quilts.

Pachamama Power Level: $1000. a three day stay in the Temple when it is completed,
