Hezekiah Lane Goad was born 14 weeks premature on January 17, 2015 to parents Carrie and Garrett Goad and sister Bailee, age 2 who is also a "miracle" baby. He weighed just 1 lb 14 oz and is just 13 inches long.
Garrett and Carrie prayed for years to be blessed with children. After several miscarriages and a difficult pregnancy they were blessed 2 years ago with a sweet, happy and healthy little girl.
They were elated to discover they were going to be blessed one more time although the risks were high for baby Hezekiah to ever be a full term baby.
Carrie and Garrett are full time working parents in a small town. Both worked while going to many appointments trying not to skip a beat to provide for their growing family. Carrie worked during the times she was very sick up until right after Christmas. She was losing fluid and had no choice but to stay full time at the hospital lying still and letting God and the Doctors do their work. The Doctors wanted her to carry baby Hezekiah for at least 6 weeks but it only lasted 2 weeks and a C-Section was preformed.
Hezekiah is on a ventilator and is making progress day by day.
Garrett and Carrie are surrounded by a wonderful family and circle of friends who all have the love of God in their heart. Many prayers are said for them but with bills coming in and more to come they need any help we all can provide them!
