Our world was rocked upon learning our 3-year-old daughter, Rowen has leukemia back in March 2019.
She can fight this... there is no doubt. And we will do anything it takes to get her well.
Rowen was diagnosed while Andrew was in the middle of a job transition so we were on a temporary health plan with a deductible that was reached the moment she was admitted. New insurance then started with a new deductible and then renew's Q4 this year starting the deductible over... So, although the timing of all this was quite unfortunate for us financially, we are so grateful for the amazing response by our team at Children's Hospital Colorado.
Rowen's Cancer Center & Blood Disorders Team at Children's Hospital Colorado is truly outstanding and we are so grateful for their expertise and excellent care for our daughter.
Both parents are working overtime to build back up and ensure that Rowen continues to receive the care she needs. We are grateful for all your support, love, post cards and prayers for Rowen during this extremely gut-wrenching time.
We all know that cancer picked the wrong GIRL. She is strong. She is fierce. She is a force to be reckoned with.
Rowen steals the heart of everyone who meets her. She is so smart and inquisitive. She's truly wise beyond her years.
