Glenda Smith/Equestrian Inc Rescue

This GoFundMe page is dedicated to Glenda Smith and Equestrian Inc. Horse Rescue which Glenda founded in 1987. All the contributions will go toward, but are not limited to cremation services and transfer, memorial service, floral arrangements, catering and the barn.
For those of you who knew Glenda you know what a kind hearted person she was to everyone she encountered. She saw the good in every person and believed in second chances (and then some). She instilled laughter and wit, and immense love for horses and all animals throughout her life. Glenda’s loving nature also helped numerous people who needed extra help during life’s trials and tribulations. Her request upon being diagnosed of brain cancer and to her final days was “take care of my horses,” and we intend to carry out that mission.
We are graciously asking for $2,000 for Memorial Service expenses and $8,500 for Equestrian Inc. toward improvements to the barn that Glenda was working on so hard before her passing. We are desperate for major repairs to our roof before rainy season hits. The leaks force us to put horses out of their stalls due to flooding. Your donation of any amount is received with a heartfelt thank you.

UPDATE:
We've received very unfortunate news about having to vacate the property where we've been located for over 20 years. We are now having to fund a down payment to purchase land and/or paying a new facility. We have horses that are not adoptable. If we don't find a new home we don't know what will happen to these horses. When we thought circumstances couldn't get worse, they have. So your donation is more meaningful than can be expressed. Our goal now far surpasses $10,500.
