To sum up this Crowdfunding campaign - it is to bring the print paper back to you. Simple. I have heard from several of you that you want the old GR Gazette back. and that the few editions I printed seemed to go in that direction. I want to make this happen. Being a one woman show with help of an awesome photographer, it is hard to do all.
This money will be seed money so we can print regularly and mail out to all the households in town.
By seeing the paper on a regular basis, advertisers will be more willing to advertise as well as the community submitting more and more info for print.
This money will also go to hiring freelance writers, editors and possibly an ad sales person.

What I really want to know about most is news that I can effectively respond to. I can’t solve global or national issues even though I may lose sleep over them. While I know it is important to be informed, in reality, I hunger for news where I can affect change or give input. So I seek news about my own community, my neighbors, my schools, my local government. That’s why I value local news journalism and that why I started Glen Rock News Today.
Glen Rock, New Jersey is small town America in the mass suburbia of metropolitan New York . Its strong community spirit, caring borough officials and family involvement make it a desirable place to call home. Glen Rock News Today (GRNT) is a journalist-owned newspaper site that focuses strictly on Glen Rock news. We report what Glen Rockers want to read: Local sport scores, school and church news, local government and business updates- comprehensive Glen Rock news.
But local news is in crisis. Good local news is a business. It costs money to publish a digital or printed newspaper. We know that Glen Rock News Today gives news updates that affect everyone in town and it builds community unity. We also know that to survive Glen Rock News Today depends on your investment in GRNT.
This money will go to hiring freelance writers, editors and photographers to make GRNT even better.
