GlastonBeoley Music Festival

This year we held our first ever music festival in Beoley called GlastonBeoley.
We dreamed big, hoping to raise a total of £5,000 to be shared between 2 charities - Mental Health Foundation and DeafBlind Uk, and hoped to be visited by 500 music lovers.
It turns out that putting on a festival costs lots of money and takes lots of work! We had a lot of help along the way, but needed to raise lots of money to pay for stages, sound engineers, portaloos, licenses, security staff, tickets, first aid.....etc etc etc!
We were so proud to be able to say that - with your help - we managed to fund the festival and ensure that every penny made in the day went directly to charity.
All £10,000 of it!! Contributed to by 12,000+ visitors on the day!!
So, what was to be a one off event is now set to return next year. We are in the process of electing charities to support from a shortlist of charities elected by our GlastonVeoley Facebook friends.
News on the selected charities will be available on Thursday 20th September 2018
And so our fundraising endeavours begin again! Starting with a sponsored spinathon on sept 22nd til sept 23rd 2018 at Beoley Village Inn, where customers, staff, music lovers and committee members will be taking to the bikes for 24 hours to raise sponsor money!
The next event will be a music quiz in October (last years was legendary!!), but first things first.....♀️
