GKC Building Project
Donation protected
The Guyana Karate College (GKC) is a registered non-profit karate association dedicated to helping Guyanese youth find proper direction in life, to keep them off drugs and the street, and to help break the cycle of crime and violence through the discipline of karate training.
To date, the GKC members raised 50% of the estimated building costs of Guyana $60 million dollars or Canadian $390,000.00, through bingos, bbqs, donations and other fundraising events.
The governement of Guyana granted an acre of land to GKC to build its HQ College for the children of Guyana who will benefit from this project.
One hundred percent of donated funds will go towards the building fund, which is needed immediately.
To date, the land has been prepared, foundation laid, portal frame erected, roof installed and GKC is now working on the walls and floor.
As founder, chairman and chief instructor, I am working to see this project completed.
A GKC Brochure with its history and objectives will be posted of Facebook.
