On the 14th of May we lost a special part of our Nighthawk Family. Nick Lena was taken from us aged only 42.
He left behind two beautiful girls, Nikita Sue (7) and Alisha Dallas (5). Nick raised these sweet girls with help from family as he worked full time to provide for them. They were the light of his life and they didn't deserve to lose their daddy. Alisha and Nikita will be cared for by Nicks family and we want to make their job as easy as possible by raising money to help with all of the costs that come along with having two extra children unexpectedly join your household. School fees, uniforms, sport fees, the list goes on. Nicks family are in the process of setting up a trust fund for these beautiful girls and all proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly into the trust.
Nick worked for us for almost ten years. He was a reliable, hard worker. More importantly he was a great friend to all, always ready with a smile and a laugh, full of life and kindness. He has left a huge hole in our team and we will miss his smiling face for years to come. He brightened many mornings for our customers, always delivering his freight with a smile. He was always so proud to bring Nikita and Alisha in to see and ride in his truck.
We ask you now to remember Nick fondly and to help us help his family and his girls to continue living the best life possible.
