Hello everybody!
I am here asking for a little help. The reason for this campaign is to fund my good friend Angel Martinez with her battle against brain tumor.
Angel recently had a biopsy done and the result came back with a malignant tumor. Tuesday Nov. 14, the doctors decided that they're not certain if they can remove the full 90% tumor because they think there's too many normal cells mixed with the cancer cells. She needs to undergo chemotherapy and radiation treatments to take away the rest of the cancer.
Angel also has had a couple of set backs with her having fluid and inflammation in her lungs. She went through the hozpitalization due to an infection in the biopsy incision and just finished a six weeks antibiotic treatment through an IV picc line.
This is just the start of a long, hard journey for Angel so for all who would like to help I'm asking for your help.
Angel is literally an angel to the book world community. She runs Prisca's Author Opportunities and hosts giveaways to help authors who wanted to gain more exposure in the publishing industry amidst her difficult situation.
If you feel so inclined to make a donation, your support will help cover the cost of medical expenses, bills and travel back and forth for treatments.
