Give Stephanie a Helping Hand Up
A bad break
Stephanie has had a very rough year but the last few months have been extremely hard. She has been battling an autoimmune disease that has left her with chronic hives. This isn't like a small allergy but is severe and covers her body from head to foot. It is also causing deep tissue swelling. She has been on a myriad of meds for it but nothing has worked. On top of this, she tore her rotator cuff the first of this year. The pain is excruciating at times but if she takes any ibuprofen or tylenol for it her face swells to the point of having to go the the emergency room.
This along with the meds she's been on has made it where she can't work like she was. She is self employed and her business has dropped by half causing her financial difficulties and stress. When you send over $1600 out in invoices and only receive $600, well, a person cannot survive on $600 a month. She needs shoulder surgery as well but has no insurance so she's just been enduring as she can.
Having to move
If that wasn't enough, she is now being forced to move. She has lived in a house that her family helped her remodel to be livable and presentable. She was led to believe she would be able to purchase the property. After she lived there a while, it became apparent the landlord has issues. Even though every month's rent has been paid on time, he called her up threatening her over Memorial Day weekend. She now has to find a place to move to as soon as possible as he is unstable and we're are concerned for her well being. She has been without a car for the past few months as she was not able to pay the tag title tax so until it's paid, she has no way to move.
Helping her out
Stephanie is not one that asks for help. She'd rather suffer alone than to put anyone out. She is the one that is always trying to help others. However, we know this time, she cannot do this alone. She is not able to lift heavy items to move. She does not have the money to move when she can find a place on such short notice. We've all been in a situation where we need a helping hand. As her parents, it's broken our hearts to see the hardships she's had to endure since she lost her husband to cancer. We have helped her out every chance we've been able but we are just not in a financial position to cover this at this time.
Please consider helping her if you can. Every little bit helps. If you can't donate, we understand but please share this and say a prayer for her. She needs a miracle to move the mountains in front of her and she needs healing for her body and mind. Thank you.
