Poor black artist

Alright, so one of my old high school teachers said I needed a story explainning why I needed a Gofundme. So here it is, I'm the average broke black man who has lived in crime-ridden areas his entire life. A good chunk of my friends are in and out of jail, addicted to drugs, gang-related and a couple dead (R.i.p Scoob).  I don't wanna shoot people, I don't wanna sell drugs, and I don't wanna break into houses. What I do wanna do, however, is draw. I've been drawing for nearly 10 years and can use a variety of media (charcoal, ink, digital, watercolor, u name it!) I wanna be a role model for kids younger than me. So instead of having [insert gangster here] as someone to look up too, they can look up too someone that's been in their shoes and didn't go that route. Believe me, if I wasn't helping my mother pay bills/ keeping food on the table with the very little we have I wouldn't make a gofundme. But unfortunately, that's my life. I've recently lost my job, wasted my time with a girl who didn't really care for me, lost a few friends, etc. All I can really do now is hope this somehow works. I don't expect anyone to donate, but it would help a lot if people did.
