Give Kids A Smile NYC is an annual volunteer initiative providing FREE educational and preventive dental services to children from low-income families. It is part of a nationwide event bringing together dentists, dental staff, and other volunteers to provide dental screenings, prevention, and education to disadvantaged students, parents, and teachers in a creative and fun atmosphere.
We are busy prepping for our upcoming GKAS event which will happen on February 1, 2019 in NYC. This year we expect to provide clinical exams and education on good dental habits to over 2,000 pre-k and elementary school children in East and West Harlem -- two areas where children are well below average in getting the dental care they need to have healthy smiles.
To make it all happen we need DONATIONS, in all sizes, to help us provide dental and non-dental supplies. We MUST reach our goal of $10,000 to be able to provide services to a greater number of children than EVER BEFORE! (And if we raise enough money we may even be able to provide T-shirts for all volunteers!)
All donors will be acknowledged on our GKAS website!
