Our good friend Bernie Hartsough has been formally granted postulancy from the Bishop to pursue her calling as an Episcopal priest.
She will be attending Seminary at the Sewanee School of Theology (http://theology.sewanee.edu).
As a member of her Discernment Committee, we have launched a "Give Back to Bernie" campaign to help Bernie with unreimbursed moving and discretionary day-to-day expenses while attending Seminary.
Without a steady form of income during her full-time studies in Semenary, we need to raise $5000 this year to give back to Bernie for her devotion to the church.
Bernie has been a devoted member of St Andrew's Episcopal Church in Valparaiso, Indiana for a better part of 20 years. During this period she organized and ran various children's religious education programs, bringing the love of Jesus into thier lives.
