Gio Perry

Gio, a very healthy and full of joy 9 year old boy, was rushed to the Emergency Room two weeks ago after his parents found him close to unresponsive while coming off the school bus and being carried out by his sister.  He was diagnosed with a large brain bleed due to a ruptured AVM (arteriovenous malformation), was intubated and put on a ventilator.  He was quickly flown out to a specialized hospital in Orlando in hopes of saving his life.  At this time he unfortunately remains on a ventilator and has endured some complications.  What his recovery will look like is still uncertain and his parents are anxiously waiting for him to wake up and be able to breathe on his own.
Gio’s parents, Cera and Coach Rodney,  have been at his bedside since the very beginning while also managing life with their other four children.   We would like to take the financial stress away from them so they can be with their son and not have to worry about their monthly  bills, medical bills,  gas money to go back and forth between Palm Coast and Orlando as well as food.  Thank you to all for helping this amazing family!
