Anyone who knows Nancy DeRoma knows how much she loves and depends on her Bulldog family.
Recently Gina was hospitalized and diagnosed with a heart condition. Nancy hopes that with the medicines and treatments she had at the hospital, Gina will hold on and live several more happy, well-loved, Bulldog years.
Nancy is struggling to pay these overwhelming vet bills.  Anybody who has taken his/her dog to a specialty vet knows how high those bills can run.
This wasn't Nancy's idea, this was my idea (Karen Hayes). I have watched Nancy grieve over the unexpected loss of one of her Bullies and know that she will do anything to help Gina survive this diagnosis.
I thought if every one of her friends just gave $5-$10-$15-$20 , we could help Nancy out.

My story about my baby lenny DeRoma
I loved him so much, he was 5 years old when he passed Sunday evening
His name was given to him after a special needs man that I worked with who loved dogs , he could not wait to meet lenny. The day I was going to bring him to the group home
I heard lenny had a seizure and never came out of his coma. He was a funny guy he did things at the house .. at least 3 to 4 times after he passed. the doorbell would ring, on different occasions with no one there..the night I was doing an overnight I looked up to the sky's, and said lenny if u show me a sign, while standing on the back porch, I will name my bully after u
A little time later a tree blew over behind the house no wind that night at all
Made my hair stand up.
Long story not short that's how he got his name

Always a pain in the butt, following me around everywhere I went
Loved to pee.in the house , always yelled at him and said what's wrong with u
I even leaved the door opened
But still did it. Just wiped it up and moved on
Lots of laundry that's 4 sure.
I asked him every time I walked though the door no pee. No poo poo . he got so excited even when he knew I was going to yell if I found a wet rug , instead of running with his head down he would follow me to the laundry room with a high 5 with his stumpy little legs
Never listened when we walked the trails
Yelling the f bomb lenny. come back he never did eyes always on him of course..
His favorite, mommy'a home made cookies and paddle boarding
He biit the hell out of my paddle board because he wanted to stay in the water when I was trying to pull it out .. perfect captain even if he moved he would not tip the board over.
He always kept me on my toes one way or another
Cling on is not even close to describing him
Any where mommy sat he was right there
Everywhere I lied he was on my head , or my backboard.on my bed.
He would whimper if there was no space, so I would move and say come on
This house with Normin and Gina is so quiet, it's scary .I miss the shuffle of his big feet
He would run to me to get his bum cleaned and when I took the drumel... out for his nails
We miss u little man more then words can describe
U and franky took half my soul
I need the other half for Gina, she has the same disease, as u, and take care of stormin normin. Till we meet again , I hope u and franky are together trying to c who can take the stick away from each other love u always love mom Normin and gina xoxo
