Get GI Joburg to JoeCon 2018

GI Joburg is the code-name for South Africa's
biggest GI Joe action figure fans - a trio of friends called Paul, Rob and Steve.

In 2011 they started a podcast of the same name where the three recorded their varied discussions of GI Joe.

Six years and over a hundred episodes later, they've added a Californian named Cujo into the mix, started a YouTube channel and naturally you can find them on both Facebook and Twitter.

Being based in South Africa does have its drawbacks however... Paul, Rob and Steve have never been able to attend the biggest event on the GI Joe collectors' calendar: the annual GI Joe Convention. And the word on the street is that 2018's convention in Chattanooga Tennessee will be the last of its kind. This literally is the last chance to attend, and the boys are doing everything in their power to make this dream trip a reality.

Of course it is a massive financial undertaking and one that the boys are going to ask their friends and fans from around the world to help with. They've recieved many generous contributions from the community before, from toys to customs to graphic novels and comics; and for that they are truly grateful. But now with this Go Fund Me initiative, GI Joburg is making it easy for any casual fan who had an interest in the growth of this project to contribute. 

And no contribution is too small! Every Dollar donated is a Dollar closer to realizing this dream. But since GI Joburg boasts a pair of talented artists, they've decided to work in some incentives as our way of saying thank you!
