Ghost MRI Fund

Donation protected
As some of you know, my boyfriend Brandon Garner has two huskies. The oldest of the two, Ghost, has been struggling for over a month with some severe health issues that have only seemed to worsen with time. You can read below on the most recent update of what Brandon has done in order to find some results. The next step is MRI, and as it states below MRI's for dogs are extremely expensive.

I am asking for donations for the MRI so he can get ghost back to being the happy, healthy, loving pup he once was.

Any little bit helps.

Thank you.

Ghost Update:

Firstly, Thank you to everyone that has reached out recently asking me about Ghosts health status.

As of now, it seems his symptoms are worsening.

I have now taken him to 3 different vets (2 were specialists) and gotten a 4th opinion from my breeders vet.

Earlier this month I took him to a dog chiropractor in hopes they could relieve some sort of stress in his spine (if that’s what he’s experiencing). She could not do much because he could barely stand during the treatment. She recommended we do an MRI, same as the neurologist and my vet.

Later in the week, I called the breeder to see if he’s ever dealt with anything similar in his huskies. He takes his pups to a husky specialist veterinarian and gave him a call describing Ghosts symptoms (loss of balance, lethargy, lack of appetite, no pain response)

The veterinarian said he thinks he may have had a stroke because he’s not showing signs of pain. He said if it was spinal related (what the neurologist and my vet suggested) there would be some sort of pain response.

This weekend I took him down to VA Beach with me for the company event. We stayed in a pet friendly hotel. He could barely walk in the hotel and while standing his legs were constantly shaking. Even at home, he never moves unless it’s to go outside. He will pee/poop then will lay down by the door. I definitely won’t be able to take him anywhere else until he is healthy.

As of right now, I’m left to either pay $2000 for an MRI to see if they can identify the issue or that he had a stroke and his condition has worsened since.

Sometimes I think I see improvement( he was walking around a bit last week) & sometimes he seems like he’s more impaired than ever.

For right now, my next move is to try to get the MRI done. $2000 is a lot and I could really use it for the company but I’d hate to leave it up to chance and just say “he had a stroke” and see the condition worsen to the point of no return with the thought in the back of my head “if I’d have just done this”

Thank you for everyone’s support. Dogs truly are so amazing. Ghost is like my son.

Please keep him in your thoughts.
