Greenwood Community Band 2017 Trip

Our group has been graciously invited to perform concerts in the Netherlands during June, 2017! This is a major opportunity that connects music across the ocean as one of the largest goodwill ambassador groups to represent Greenwood and Johnson County, Indiana.

We are performing 3 concerts including 2 combined events with the local Dutch community bands.

Our volunteer musicians are paying a substantial portion of the expenses associated with the trip, we still need funding to help offset the cost of making this trip possible. Your help is greatly appreciated!

We are bringing traditional American music -- Sousa, Gershwin, and additionally highlighting Hoosier musicians of note -- Hoagie Carmichael, Fred Jewell, and Richard Saucedo.

These Greater Greenwood Community Band Netherlands Concert Performances taking place in June 2017 require funding as soon as possible since most of the expenses must be pre-paid.
