My name is Heather, myself along with a group of some of Molli's friends are reaching out to help her through her recovery.

First and foremost, Molli is ok and in a safe place as well as her friends that she was with. For those that have not heard, a shooting accured at Route 91, in Las Vegas Sunday October 1st. Our dear friend Molli was not only at this event but caught in the cross fire of flying bullets and chaos. She was shot, taken to the hospital and is now in a safe place. Unfortunately the injuries that she sustained will prevent her from working when she finally comes home.

Molli has a strong passion and love for animals. Her injuries not only effect her source of income but will prevent her from doing something she truly loves doing, taking care of her clients animals.

She would go over and beyond to help a friend in need and it's our time right now to help her. We are raising money to help her with her unplanned medical expense and to help her with bills, so she can heal with out the stress of not knowing how to pay them while unable to work. Please help us in anyway you can, so that Molli can have a quick and stress free recovery.

Our hearts our full to know that our friend is alive and safe. Our hearts break for the those who's lives ended and their families who have to go through this tragedy.

We thank for any help you can give to Molli during this time.

Hello All,

Please forgive this late update on Molli and her journey to recovery. We wanted to post something at the end of the weekend, however fires broke out in our beloved Sonoma County, and in our towns, so getting online has been difficult.

First of all, Molli has been brought to tears and is eternally grateful for all the wonderful people who have sent their love and support to her through this difficult time. She thanks everybody from the bottom of her heart for everything they have done for her.

While we do not want to share Molli's story for her, we want to keep everyone that has supported her up-to-date with her recovery and wellbeing. Molli is very fortunate, her cowgirl boots she was wearing the night of the event saved her ankle by absorbing most of the impact from the bullet. Bullet fragments did enter her heel, ankle, and lower calf in multiple locations. A bullet also grazed the back of her boot in line with her achilles tendon but luckily it only grazed her boot and she suffered no visible injury from that bullet. After the event took place and she was in a safe place, she made it clear that she wanted the paramedics and EMT personnel to focus on other people who needed the help more. She sat for several hours, elevating her leg with her boot still on. When an ambulance finally arrived for her and her friend, they were taken to an emergency hospital outside of Vegas and seen by doctors.

Currently she is still unaware of the medical costs. She does know that she will be billed by the ambulance company, hospital, physicians department, and radiology department.

At the emergency hospital, they were able to remove one of the larger bullet fragments from her ankle, that was closest to the surface of her skin. Due to her boot stopping the bullet, the fragments entered into her body in large pieces and broke into tinier pieces of shrapnel, which can never be removed due to their size and location. The likelihood of the shrapnel pushing its self out of her body over time is very low as well due to how it initially entered. She has confirmed shrapnel from the back of her ankle, running up her calf, to her knee.

When she returned home, she saw her own doctor, got more X-rays, and started physical therapy due to the lack of mobility is her ankle. She is on crutches still but has started to move her ankle more and even begin putting very little pressure on parts of her foot! She is determined to heal smoothly and correctly.

Unfortunately, due to the fires in Sonoma County her recovery may take a little more time than anticipated, due to evacuation orders, added stress, and lack of time. It is believed that the hospital her physical therapist was located in may have sustained some damage from the fires, and she is not sure how this will affect her appointments and recovery moving forward. Molli's heart breaks for our county right now, for the towns that are burning down, and for our friends and family who have lost so much during this time.

As so many others affected by this fire, Molli will have to rebuild her clientele from the ground up when she is able to work again. Many of her clients have lost everything and morns their loses with them.

We will provide further update as soon as we can. Please keep Molli in your thoughts and prayers, as well as our wonderful Sonoma County.

Thank you all so much!
