Get Well Gracie !

Gracie Gardner 15, a student at Denison High School,  has contracted Gastroparesis, which is a serious disease that prevents your stomach from digesting food and emptying properly. She is currently under going treatment at Children's Medical Center. We hope she can come home soon. 16 hours a day Gracie has to be fed through a PICC line in order for her body to receive proper nourishment. This ordeal has been a huge strain, physically, mentally and financially on Gracie and the whole Gardner family.

Please help! Medical expenses are growing.

Gracie is the daughter of Dean (a fireman) and Jodie (a Denison Isd teacher) Gardner of Denison, Tx.

Gracie was part of a church group that participated in a 5-day float trip down the Buffalo River in Arkansas in June, 2016. Upon returning to Denison she and another student Jonathan Brandt started experiencing stomach cramps, nausea and vomiting. A parasite is believed to be the culprit. The damage lead to the Gastroparesis that both teenagers are now experiencing. Both are still in the hospital!!!

This awesome family is very dear to ours and many others in the community. Gracie and my daughter are very close friends.

The treatment of Gracie's disease may be lengthy and very costly. Please help us raise money to ease the burden of high medical bills and other associated costs that insurance simply won't cover!
