GetUsToWorldSolarChallenge2019  I started the Nigeria EcoRacing Team in 2014 in Lagos, Nigeria to pursue the development and advancement of DIY educational activity, scientific, extreme learning and heighten the Citizen Science movement initially across Nigeria.  Science  and Technological exploration are the key to solving Nigeria and the global's energy and infrastructure burdens. We have missed attending the World Solar Challenge (WSC)in October 2015 and 2017 due to funding challenges and the 2019 event offers an opportunity to live our dream and set this paradigm presence across not just Nigeria but on the African continent.  We hope for the building process to be interactive with a viewing audience, reaching them via television, radio and social media. We are building the Intelligent  Eaglemobile 9Jabolt  solar car to race in Australia and then pursue the likely success of this car beyond the WSC event. This project is a movement we seek to use as a platform to galvanize the mother of all technological revolutions so as to inspire and drive inventorship, maker culture and grand innovation continent wide. Please give your support to this all important quest to impact the Nigerian and African youth with technological knowhow.

The 9Jabolt will be H; 1.029m, L: 4.318m, W:2.0m

Weight: 220kg,

Solar Array: 7.80m2 permanent array (1950 cells). All cells will be PERL mono (FZ) silicon and perovskite with average efficiency of 35%.

Chassis: Aluminium rigid A-frame/glass fibre reinforced nomex honeycomb (upper). Carbon fibre reinforced nomex honeycomb lower.

Motor: advanced T-flux TF406 permanent magnet DC, Brushless

Maximun speed: Experimental 75km/h, Theoretical 85km/h

Battery: 58 gates Cyclone-G12c pb/acid cells or lithium ion spec.

Battery power: 10kWh at 118v

And to achieve the industrial engineering and prototyping process will cost us about $650,000 and media cost, camping the team, equipment cost, logistics, travel and freight cost to and fro, miscellaneous cost, international engineering consultancy, apparels to be worn by team bring the cost of the project to about $1,000,000.
