Getting Scar Thru Chemo-Help Fight

Hello everyone,
For those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Scar, he is by far the sweetest, most loyal, big hearted, smartest, and loving boy you’ll ever meet. Scar’s a very happy Tahoe dog - loves to swim, hike, camp, go on runs, make new friends, play and is always up for an adventure.
Last week me, Jake and Scar received the news that changed our lives. Scar’s been diagnosed with lymphoma (Lymphoma is cancer of the lymph nodes) and was given 6-8 weeks without treatment. Lymphoma is one of the highest rated cancers to achieve remission through chemo, and with him being only 5 yrs old, the doctors feel very positive about his odds.
For any pet parents, this is something I hope and wish you never have to go through, and if you have, my heart sincerely goes out to you because they are family, and to them we are their world. Today was the first of his weekly chemo treatment, he will be doing occasional lab work, and is on prescriped meds until we reach remission. We are asking for your help to make sure that we can do everything we can for our boy to live a happy and painless life for as long as possible. From the inner most part of mine, Jake’s, and most of all Scar’s hearts, we thank and love you guys for your contribution, and for taking the time to read about Scar.
