Getting home to the US for a funeral

My grandmother in Michigan was in a car crash yesterday, and I cannot afford to go home from Germany for the funeral. Because of the timing - right before Thanksgiving, one month before Christmas - I want nothing more than to be there with family to provide support and love in this trying and difficult time.
As of this morning, a flight to Detroit on the 19th and back here on the 24th is nearly 700 euros total. But I need less than that, namely 500 euros. I am beyond grateful for any cent that can be spared.
