Getting Chloe To Houston, TX

Hey ya'll! Before I begin, I would like to start with I am not here to make money - in fact, it's nothing about me!! Many friends and family members suggest crowdfunding to help me with transportation to get from Las Vegas, NV to Houston, TX where all of my family resides. I got a Penske truck, and all money raised will pay solely the truck rental and anything else will be 100% donated to victims of Hurrican Harvey in the Houston area! 

I grew up in Manvel, TX a short drive south of Houston, TX. I moved away when I was 18 years old, when my husband got active duty orders to Nellis, AFB. I was just in Texas a few weeks ago visiting family before we PCS to RAF Lakenheath (United Kingdom). I could have easily been a victim to this storm, but since I am fortunately not the victim, I WILL HELP. I am compelled to help my family, friends, neighbors, churches, shelters, communities, cities - my home state of Texas. Every person I know was impacted by the devastating storm, and in order to rebuild and heal - they need supplies!!

That's where my community here in Vegas stepped in! We have THOUSANDS of dollars in supplies, food, water, diapers, breast pumps, toddler matresses, car seats, formula, feminine hygeine products, you name - WE HAVE IT! 

With the overwhelming amount of donations and generosity here in Las Vegas, Nevada - I am forced to get a more equipped vehicle for the 1,200 mile expedition ahead of me from Las Vegas to Houston! 

I leave Friday morning at 7 Am on September 1st! As soon as I arrive in Houston, all of the supplies will be dropped off to the local shelters and churches that are now home to hundreds of homeless victims of Hurricane Harvey. I'll be bringing tons of supplies donated, as well as my ability to volunteer across the city for over 10 days. 

Any dollar helps for this cause!! Any amount not needed for the truck, will 100% be donated to local shelters in the Houston area. Please, if you feel compelled to give, GOD BLESS you. And if you do not have the means to give monetary amounts, please prayer for the victims of flooding in my hometown and home state! Thank you so much for your time.
